STAGE

Blackout & Light Control

 

The performance relies on precise light and video effects created by the video artist. Therefore, the venue must be able to achieve complete blackout. The method of achieving this can be discussed and adapted based on the venue’s possibilities.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR VIDEO-ARTIST
- small table for placement of camera
- small table for placement of beamer
- Projector (provided by the company) placed right in from and in the middle of the stage
FLOOR REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DANCE
The ideal option is a professional dance floor. However, if this is not available, the floor must meet the following conditions to ensure the safety and comfort of the performers:
* It should be smooth, even, and clean.
* The surface must be free of splinters or rough areas that could cause injuries.
* If the stage consists of separate elements, they must be securely attached to prevent any movement during the performance.

DRUM

ORIGINAL SIZE DRUM FOR SMALLER PLACES

Below is the list of materials needed to build the drum. Apart from the ladder, we can bring everything ourselves. However, as this adds extra weight and luggage, we would prefer if the organiser could provide these materials. If this is not possible, please let us know in advance so we can arrange an alternative solution.
SUPPLIES FOR DRUM SETTUP
2 allen wrench nr. 8 (inbussleutel)
2 screw spanner nr. 7 (Engelse sleutel)
2 screw spanner nr. 10 (Engelse sleutel)
2 big, flat screw driver (schroevendraaier)
2 rubber hammer (rubberen hamer)
mininum 2 heavy blocks to stabalise the drum
depending on floor cloths to protect floor
1 or 2 ladder (only for the original size)
4 volunteers for drum setup, especially to
1 metal drill (metaalboor) - good to have in case of problem

BACKSTAGE
Kindly provide a warm and clean backstage for 5 artists, 1 technician and the volunteers.
The backstage needs to be provided with tables, chairs, a mirror, sufficient light and a clean floor to be able to warm up.
Kindly provide water, drinks and snacks for the artists.
Kindly provide an ironing board and an iron if possible.
